Rodney Velarde Had to climb to 13000 ft to clear mountains and clouds.
Rodney Velarde added 769 lbs of fuel to the load I had. Wx at destination was very marginal and winds aloft were 38 k direct cross... the approach was via de canyon down to minimums... not a very nice landing... but a safe one.. we made it!! WOW.
