Guidelines For Flights and Bidding:

For a detailed description of job requirements for Pilots and Management see the Ops Manual.

Find a Charter

Pilots can fly when ever they like, as little or as often. We don't have minimum requirements. Pop in when ever you can and say hi once in a while.

All flights must be logged using  Kacars, or FsflightKeeper

Use the callsign "MOJO" followed by the charter number when flying on VATSIM.  Pilots may also use the tail number of the aircraft if it is an "on demand"  charter.

Find a charter you want to fly:

Once you find a charter you will want to bid on it, its also a good idea to bid on the return trip, or next leg if you plan to fly it.

Now you can return to the Pilot Control Panel and view your Bid or Bids to confirm.

Bids

Guidelines for Bidding:

After making a bid or bids pilots must fly them that day, if you find that you are unable to fly your charter please be respectful and remove your bid or bids by returning to the Pilot Center and clicking on "view my Bids" then double click remove.

The best practice is to bid right before doing your flight / flights

Once a charter is bid on it is no longer available until a Report is filed, this is why we ask that you please respect the bid system.

Infractions:

If you use common sense and follow instructions we will have no problems, I try to run a fairly laid back kind of operation.

Fuel & Planning

Fuel Loads:

update:Routes now include a fuel calulator.

Fuel is our largest expense!!  Only take what you need!

Our system calculates using pounds only, use what you want in the sim, when you submit a report I want your fuel in pounds (lbs).

When placing a bid it is your responsibility to be mindful of fuel, this means knowing if your arrival airport has fueling. Many of our charters require pilots to carry enough fuel for the return trip, keep that in mind.

In some cases pilots will be required to take enough fuel for the return trip as your arrival airport may not have fueling, Pilots must note this in the comments section of the flight report.  This is so the system doesn't charge us twice for fuel.  Simply note "no fuel loaded" in the comments section of your report.

When placing a bid you will notice a "Pilot Brief" link, all the info you will need is there, charts, weather, and airport info.
